My name is Sven Masterson. For more than twenty-five years, my career was built around a single, highly specialized discipline: architecting complex, high-consequence enterprise systems for major organizations like SiriusXM, DISH, Pearson, SoftBank, and the Texas electrical grid (ERCOT).
In that world, my greatest strength was systems thinking—the ability to look at an incredibly complex, interconnected environment, see the hidden patterns, anticipate failure points, and locate the subtle leverage points that make the difference between absolute uptime and catastrophic failure.
Today, I make most of my living as an author, mentor, and coach, helping people navigate highly complex personal and life challenges. But I am also a rural property owner right here in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Throughout my life, I have maintained a parallel obsession with physical engineering and construction. I don't just understand digital systems; I have deep, hands-on, multi-decade experience in the physical world. I understand concrete pouring and curing, structural framing, electrical grids, plumbing geometry, high-efficiency hydronic heating, heat pumps, diesel mechanics, and the demanding realities of managing a rural homestead.

Why I Built This
"I didn't start Property Patrol to build a massive, high-volume franchise. I built it because I wanted to hire this service myself, and it did not exist."
As a rural property owner who travels and manages multiple commitments, I personally wished there were someone available locally whom I could trust to watch my property. But I didn't want a security guard or a lawn-mower.
I wanted a peer.
